Education

The core mission of the Italian American Opera Foundation is to educate and train young talents. To achieve this, IAOF has developed several programs tailored to different ages and levels of experience.

INTERNATIONAL LYRIC ACADEMY IN ITALY 2016 • July 11- August 8

THE INTERNATIONAL LYRIC ACADEMY IN ITALY is a unique occasion for students and emerging Artists; during an intensive month, they receive professional coachings, voice lessons and partecipate in a full range of classes, masterclasses, Concerts, recitals and rehearsals culminating in three performances of “The Magic Flute” by Mozart with the Wuhan Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of Maestro Stefano Vignati. There will be also the Italian Opera Program, a special session dedicated to the Opera scenes from Donizetti’s, Verdi’s and Mozart’s with the opportunity to study throughly the role with Italian coaches and Maestros and, at the end, to perform in several Concerts. www.internationallyricacademy.com

 ITALIAN OPERA STUDIO IN LOS ANGELES TM

ITALIAN OPERA STUDIO is a professional training educational project for Singers conceived as complementary to and in support of academic programs. Italian Opera Studio is designed to help students with overall language skills and individual interpretive style.

The objective of the Italian Opera Studio is to have the student acquire a level of excellence in diction, text comprehension and overall understanding of the method in approaching the study of Italian Opera, essential for the professional success of  young singers.

IMPARIAMO L’OPERA TM

IMPARIAMO L’OPERA (Let’s Learn Opera) is a program dedicated to elementary school students. Through engaging and lively performances narrated by two actors, the young students get their first exposure to Italian Opera. The Opera will be presented and discussed in real theaters allowing students to interact with the artists. Teachers will find an opportunity to integrate the Opera pieces into curriculum studies.
